0830 – 0930 All Semester Students (2-5) / 0930-1100 Semester 2
Add/Drop is for: / 1100-1230 Semester 3 ( Need a child birth prep course)
  1. Students who are not registered in a course;
/ 1230-1400 Semester 4
  1. Students who wish to do a direct swap in clinical sites (both students need to be present)
/ 1400-1530 Semester 5
Due to lengthy onboarding processes, we can no longer swap Kaiser, VAPA, OCH, or ECH practicum sites. / 1530-1700 Semester 6*
*HESI EXAM time and location TBA
Fit Testing: Is required for all Public Health Sites, VMC, OCH. Please check the website under News and Informationfor updates regularly. / Update all Castlebranch documentations
before August 10, 2017.

New Student Orientation Schedules

Incoming UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS / (Semester 1) will attend the New Student Workshop with Dr. Arlene Spilker on Monday August 21 , 2017 from 8:30 to 4pm TBA
Incoming ADVANCED PLACEMENT STUDENTS (BRIDGE) / Will meet with Dr. Deepika Goyal on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 Room HB408

NOTE:

  1. Orientation is mandatory for all students in semester 2-6 and the first day of nursing classes. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early to the meeting rooms and be on time. While waiting for your orientation session, please respect other student groups in the Student Union by speaking quietly. Please bring a print out of your Class Schedule; tower card, pen and paper, and any clinical documentation requested by your clinical instructor.
  1. Add / Drop: You do not have to come to the Add/Drop session if: a) you have all of your classes, b) you know you are in a course/section and only need permission codes for Theory or Professional Role Development classes which you may request from your instructor the 1st day of class.
  1. Check the School of Nursing website frequently over the Summer Break for updates and changes to course sections.
  1. Students needing fit testing, please check the School of Nursing website for scheduling and payment information under News and Information.
