- I/We hereby declare that I/we have had the opportunity to read and that I/we understand the national Sporting Code of the ACU, the ACU Standing Regulations, such Supplementary Regulations as have or may be issued for the event, and agree to be bound by them. (This can be accessed at
- I/we further declare that I am/we are physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and I am/we are competent to do so.
- I/we confirm that I/we understand the nature and type of event weare entering and its inherent risks and agree to accept the same notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence on the part of the organisers or officials.
- I/we confirm that the machine(s) as described above which I/we enter on shall be suitable and proper for the purpose;
- I/we confirm that if any part of the event takes place on a public highway, the machine(s) described above shall be insured as required by the Road Traffic Acts, or equivalent legislation, and that it/they will comply with the regulations in respect thereof. I/we agree that I am/we are required to register our arrival by ‘Signing On’ at the designated place not less than 30 minutes prior to commencement of the event.
- I/we further declare that we understand that I/we are required to ‘Sign Off’as soon as possible on our return to the paddock.
Acknowledgement of the risks of motorcycling: I/we understand that by taking part in this event I/we are exposed to a risk of death, becoming permanently disabled or suffering some other serious injury and I/we acknowledge that even in the event that negligence on the part of the ACU, the promoter, the organising club, the venue owner, or an individual carrying out duties on their behalf were to be a contributory cause of any serious injury I/we may suffer, the dominant cause of any serious injury will always be my/our voluntary decision to take part in a high risk activity.
I/We accept that insurance arranged on my/our behalf by organisers of events that I/we enter specifically excludes liability between the participants. I/we understand that this form maybe used in litigation as evidence that any serious injury will be principally the result of my/our voluntary decision to engage in a risk activity. I/we acknowledge that my/our participation is entirely at my/our risk.

THE OXON/BUCKS RUN
TO BE HELD AT THE CHINNOR STEAM RAILWAY PRESERVATION SITE.
STATION ROAD, CHINNOR, OXON. OX39 4BZ
The start and finish will be from the car park onsite where toilets and refreshments are available, it is also possible to gain access to the platform area free, steam train rides will be available at areduced rate.
There will be two routes on the day, one of 60 miles in total and one of 45 miles with a lunch stop followed by a short run back to the start. Award for best machine on the day and souvenirs for all entrants.
This will be open to any persons, whether a club member or not entering a pre 1940 machine or three wheeler of any make. All machines must comply with all legal requirements. The event will consist of a road safety run.
ENTRIES These can only accepted if submitted on this official form accompanied by the correct fees.
Entry fee £9 for Sunbeam members and £12 for non-members, passengers £2.50
Entries to reach the secretary by the 2nd April 2017. Entry fees returned if the event is cancelled.
INSTRUCTIONS Entrants to assemble by 10.30 and to sign on at which point numbers and route sheets will be supplied along with lunch vouchers.
