The Scoring System

Mid-Day Session: Round Robin Format: A single 5 or 6 game set against each opponent [Singles will play a 5 game pro-set; doubles a 6 game proset] [a sudden-death tie-breaker will be played (first to 5 points)]if it gets to 4-4 in singles or 5-5 in doubles]

A player's final score is determined by adding the total number of games each player wins in his RR grid.

Τhe winner will be determined in the following manner:

1st by the player/team with the best record,

2nd by the player/team with thehighest number ofgames,

....andif still a tie, then by how those teams did head to head.

Notes: 1) Singles -- Top 2 players in each RR grid will qualify for semi final competition. The 3rd /4th player in each RR will play a separate consolation semis and finals.

2) Doubles –The top two teams in each RR will play each other in the finals during the afternoon session. The next two teams (ie. 3rd place and 4th place) will also play in the afternoon in a consolation draw.

Afternoon Session-- Semi's will use an 8-game proset with no-add scoring, and the Finals will be the best 2 out of 3 6 game sets, no-add scoring, with a match tie-break in liu of a 3rd set. All consolation matches will use 8-game prosets, no-add scoring.
