GUIDANCE NOTES FOR UK TAXPAYERS ON GIFT AID DECLARATIONS IN RESPECT OF THE GORDONHIGHLANDERSMUSEUM SUPPORT FUND REGISTERED CHARITY NO: SCO22039

  • Gift Aid declarations may be written, given orally by telephone, or made electronically over the Internet. By completing the above declaration we can reclaim any tax you have paid on your donations giving the Gordon Highlanders MuseumSupport Fund a very welcome 25p extra for every £1 you donate
  • You can cancel the declaration at any time by notifying us. Declarations made orally by telephone may be cancelled within 30 days from the date on which written confirmation is sent. The cancellation will have retrospective effect, so that it will be as if the oral declaration had never been made
  • If you pay tax at a higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the Fund reclaims, you should cancel your declaration
