ACCOMPANIMENT

The international competition for the young pianists will be held from 15th to 18th May 2016at Music School in Tivat (hereinafter Organizer) in Montenegro.

Competitors will compete in the following categories:

B category born on 1st May 2005 and younger

C category born on 1st May 2003 and younger

THE RULES OF THE COMPETITION

  1. The competition is open for the young pianists of all levels from different countries.
  1. The competition is public.
  1. The Competition Organizer reserves the rights to do the audio-recordings as well as Radio, TV and Internet broadcasting of the Competition performance, without any compensation.
  1. The program in disciplinesPiano Duet and Accompaniment in all categories can only be performed from the Music Scores ,and in disciplinePiano Solo in all categories can only be performed by heart.
  1. The Score Material, which is mentioned in the propositions for the piano duet, has to previously be submitted to the members of jury for insight, as provided in The Propositions of the Competition.
  1. Prizes:

In the Piano Solo and Piano Four-Hands Duet discipline:

Baby and A, B, C, D Category will be awarded by:

  • 1 Special Prize
  • First, Second and Third Prize as well as the Certificates for the participation without limited numbers, according to the jury decision.

E, F and Academy A and B Category will be awarded by:

  • 1 Special Prize
  • 5 First Prizes
  • 8 Second Prizes
  • Third Prizes as well as the Certificates for the participation without limited numbers, according to the jury decision.

In the Accompaniment discipline:

All categories will be awarded by:

  • 1 Special Prize
  • First, Second and Third Prize as well as the Certificates for the participation without limited numbers, according to the jury decision.
  1. The Organizer reserves the right to award the cash prizes for the LAUREATE OF THE COMPETITION (if the winner is announced).
  1. The candidate with the highest number of points, according the jury selection,will take part in The Final Concert, when the Certificates will be awarded to the First Prizes and Special Prizes winners.
  1. All the participants will have the planned terms for the warming up before the performance-competition.
  1. The Organizer will provide the space for practicing in the rooms of Music School Tivat from the arrival time-registration of competitors in Tivat to the time of performance at the Competition.
  1. The participation fee for the competition has to be charged at the Music School Bank Account, with a note- for the competition.
  1. The participation fee in the Accompaniment disciplinewon’t be charged if the candidate also participates in the Piano Solo or PianoFour Hands Duet discipline.
  1. The fee amount for the Piano Solo discipline:
  • Baby and A Category- 20€
  • B, C and D Category- 30€
  • E and F Category- 40€
  • Academy A and B Categories- 50€
  1. The fee amount for the Piano duet discipline:
  • Baby and A Category- 10€ per the member of duet
  • B, C, D Category- 15€ per the member of duet
  • E, F Category- 20€ per the member of duet
  • Academy A and B Categories- 25€ per the member of duet
  1. The fee amount for the Accompaniment discipline (read the clause 12.)
  • Baby Category -10€
  • A Category- 10€
  • B Category- 15€
  • Academy A and B Categories- 20€

Footnote: The fee amount can’t be returned if the candidate doesn’t appear at the Competition.

  1. The Rules and the Prepositions are published in Montenegrin and English language. In the case of litigation, Montenegrin language version is valid.

THE JURY MEMBERS

The Jury work is regulated by THE PROCEDURERULES OF THE JURY.

The jury will be composed of 4 to 5 members,experts and eminent music educators in this field.

SOLOISTS- ASSISTANTS:

The Organizer provides the soloists-assistants for the competitors in the discipline of Accompaniment.

Each participant of the competition in theAccompaniment discipline has right to have two free rehearsals with the assistant. Each further rehearsal will be charged per 5€.

TRAVELLING AND ACCOMODATION EXPENSES FOR THE COMPETITORS

The competitors cover the travelling andaccommodation expenses in Tivat themselves.

The Organizer provides the free transfer from the Tivat Airport to the Music School Tivat.

The Organizerhas the accommodation offer in Tivatfor the period during the competition, according to previous request by the competitors and their companions.

COMPETITION APPLICATIONS

The Application deadline is15th April 2016.

Along with the application, the candidate is obligated to provide the proof of the birth date, birth certificate or passport copy (by email or by post).

THE COMPETITION TIMETABLE

The time and the dates of candidate’s performance will be scheduled after the end of applying,no later than 5th May 2016, ofwhat the candidates will be informed.

The Competition Concert of Winners is scheduled for 18th May 2016.
