Objective

To arouse students’ interest in research works

To enhance student’s career development in transport and logistics industries

To award students’ proactive participation in professional activities

Full-time undergraduate student

Study transport and/or logistics or related discipline in a recognisedtertiary institution in Hong Kong

What’s NEXT for Transport andLogistics

Note: Candidates can provide personal recommendations for imperfect situation they find in Logistics/Transport field or explain their personal views for a logistics/transport-related phenomenon, etc. and set their research topic.

Format

Submission format: PowerPoint Slides (English version)

Number of slides: for 15 to 20-minute presentation

Number of members: Individual or Group work (up to 4 members)

CILTHK will inform those short-list candidatestopresent their case in front of the Judging Panel.

Notification of selected candidates: end Jul 2015

Presentation by candidatesAug/Sep2015

Result announcement: mid Sep 2015

Forms can be submitted in person or by mail(subject to the date of the postmark)

The executive summary with PowerPoint Slides should be submitted to se mark “CILTHK Case Competition 2015” in the emailsubject.

Quality of content

Innovative, critical ideas and views in Transport and Logistics issues

Presentation performance

Interview performance before the judging panel

Judging Panel (Final round)

-Council members of CILTHKand/or

-Charter Fellow and/or

- Representative of Vinpac Lines (Hong Kong) Ltd (sponsor)

Awards

Champion: HK$6,000.00

1st Runner-up: HK$3,000.00

2nd Runner-up: HK$1,000.00

Successful candidates are required to be a member of CILTHK before being awarded (i.e. any appropriate membership grade);

or Applicant should be a Student Member of CILTHK as a requisite.

Remarks

-CILTHK reserves the right not to grant a scholarship should there be no suitable candidate
