Terms & Conditions of Membership
- Blackpool Music School is a membersonly music Club.
- All donations / subscription are made to the Music School, which is a registered charitable organisation.
- All donations/subscriptions are to cover general running cost of the school.
- Cash/Cheques arenot acceptable unless by prior arrangement.
- One month paid notice must be given in writing of any cancellation of membership.
- Failure to give one month’s noticeof any cancellation of membership,will still incur charges until noticereceived in writing.
- Payments to be one month in advance of membership.
- Refunds are only available in exceptional circumstances. This does not include minor illnesses, holidays or conflicting interests.However, members may wherever possible re-arrange missed one to one sessions at their teacher’s convenience.Please note: this is not always possible.
- Any absences or cancellations made by the member cannot be credited or refunded, however replacement sessions may be offered under the tutor’s discretion. Note this only applies to one to one sessions.
- Sessions cancelled by a tutor cannot be refunded or credited, but will be rearranged by the tutor for an alternative date when possible.
- It is advised all members bring their own instruments, however the school can provide members with free use of instruments, subject to availability.
- Blackpool Music School has the right to reject any application that does not meet our membership policy terms and conditions. Membership will be terminatedfollowing aggressive or inappropriate behavior, bad language etc.to members of staff or other pupils. No refunds will be given following termination of membership for the above behavior.

Entitlement
Membership entitles you tofour sessions per month during term time, either 30minssessions
on a one to one basis, or 1 hour group sessionsas follows:
- Group sessions – maximum of 6 members – £40 per person Standing Order
- Group sessions that fall to 2 members – session time will be reduced to 45mins.
- One to one sessions 30mins - £52 cash or £46. Paid by standing order, starting on the 11th day of each Calendar month. Including all cash payments
- Home visits 30mins - £60 per Calendar month by standing order
SessionsEntitlement
Weekly; the school closes during some holidays & half termsperiods. A list of term times is available at reception and it is theresponsibility of the member(s) orparents or guardian to keep up to the agreed dates withinthe agreed term times.
Free to members
Copied music is free to all members and use of practice rooms is free subject to room availability. In house free instrument loan from our music library is also available subject to availability.
All payments are to be paid one month in advance by Standing Order between
the 1st &11th of each calendar month.
Membership/ subscriptions fees are subject to change and are reviewed on an annual basis.
