Abstract

These instructions give you guidelines for preparing papers for the Tenth Workshop on Power Line Communications (WSPLC) 2016.Use this document as a template if you are using Microsoft Word 6.0 or later. Otherwise, use this document as an instruction set. Define all symbols used in the abstract. Do not cite references in the abstract.

I.INTRODUCTION

HIS document is a template for Microsoft Word versions 6.0 or later. If you are reading a paper or PDF version of this document, please download the electronic file,WSPLC2016_word.doc, from the WSPLC 2016 Web site so you can use it to prepare your manuscript. Please, do not change the font sizes or line spacing to squeeze more text into a limited number of pages.Use italics foremphasis; do not underline.

II.Procedure for Contribution Submission

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit anextended abstract in Portable Document Format (PDF) up to two pages.The extended abstract should include all information necessary to allow the reviewers to assess the contribution. All submitted contributions will be peer-reviewed for their quality, correctness, originality and relevance.

The deadline for the abstract submission is July 1, 2016. Abstract submissions have to be sent via e-mail to the co-chairs, Prof. Thomas Clausen and Mr. Cédric Lavenu, e-mail: . The e-mail must includethe following text in the subject line: Abstract submission to WSPLC 2016. The e-mail must also include the contact author information. The e-mail reception will be notified.

Authors of accepted abstract are requested to prepare a final short paperand a presentation. They are also requested to present their work at the workshop. The short paper should include a synthetic description of the presentation offered at the workshop detailing the main problem that is addressed, solution, results and bibliography.

The recommended length is up to three pages with a hard limit to 4 pages.

The paper must be in single column format, with single spaced lines, and times new roman font with size 10 pt. Do not add page numbers. They also need to be converted in .PDF format embedding all fonts. The size of the file must not exceed 5 MB.

At least one author of each accepted paper is kindly requested to register before July 22, 2016 to have the paper included in the WSPLC proceedings.

The deadline for the final submission is September 23, 2016 for the short paper and September 30, 2016 for the presentation.

The papers have to be sent via e-mail to the co-chairs, e-mail: e-mail must include in the subject line the text: Final WSPLC 2016 paper.

The short papers will not be copyrighted which will allow further publication elsewhere with the appropriate extension.
The short papers will be freely downloadable from the workshop web site to allow high dissemination of the research results. They will also be included in the archive of publications on Power Line Communications and related issues accessible from
