TASK 3: COLLABORATIVE INSTALLATIONS/ARTEFACTS

WHEN?

Due date: Term 3 Week 10
Thursday 18th September, 2014

WHY?

This is the final artmakingtask for this unit. It brings together concepts and ideas of how best to communicate the layered history of your site on Macquarie St. Each collaborative project will become one aspect of a final exhibition in which the projects will be presented to the wider community.

WHO?

Each student has nominated their interests in artmaking for a particular field. Each group will develop ideas and projects in the medium/s of their choice.

What?

Weighting40%

Groups will submit a different project that meets the marking criteria and considers the way that a site can be enhanced through art, design, installation and digital technologies.
Each student will be assessed individually with grades awarded for how well they collaborated within the group.

SUMBISSION GUIDELINES

You will need to submit the following:

  • Your project (animation/interactive art/Photoshop/sculpture/soundscape/video)
    Negotiate with your teacher the exact things that will be submitted
  • Your Visual Arts Diary (individually documented with your progress notes)
  • A 100 word statement of intent of your project (one per group)
  • A 300 word evaluation of the project in a word document (one per person).
    Evaluation questions will be posted on Edublog.
