As part of the routine maintenance of the courses supported by the government, and to ensure alignment of public subsides with areas of need, courses with no activity are routinely removed from the Subsidised Training List.

Table 2: Courses that have been assessed as having low public value

A number of courses have been identified as having low public value. However, we are keen to ensure that we continue to invest in critical areas that provide either (1) industry recognised pre-vocational courses, (2) industry recognised employment entry level courses or (3) identified strategic upskilling priorities.

Table 3: Courses with a no new enrolment date for funding purposes

In the past the following courses have attracted a no new enrolment date when, amongst other things, training accounts exceeded projected demand for a particular qualification.
