$1,000.00 Scholarship Application

Purpose: To provide a scholarship to a student from the SHRMA membership region (Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties, Pennsylvania) studying human resources, business, workforce education with a human resources component, with a planned career in the Human Resources field.

School Standing: Applicants must be enrolled in at least the third year of an accredited undergraduate program through the final year of an accredited Master’s program at the time the application is submitted. Applicants must still be attending school to receive this award. On-line students are also eligible.

Scholarship Amount

$1,000 to one student; no student may receive more than one $1,000 scholarship.

Timeline:

February 28, 2014: Deadline to submit all application materials, including letters of reference and transcripts. All materials must be submittedin one packet and not separately. Late applications will not be considered.

By March 31, 2014: Applicants will be notified of the results.

After April 30, 2014: A scholarship check will be distributed directly to the university/college into an account for the student.
