UNDERCLASSMEN PASS PROCEDURES FOR PROM

PERMISSION SLIP

The Meridian Board of Education provides high school activities only for SVHS students with two exceptions. For the Homecoming Dance and Prom, non-students may participate with the permission of the high school principal. The principal’s decision is final.

1.  SVHS students may bring one guest to a dance. The guest may not be in addition to an existing escort from SVHS.

2.  Underclassman must be registered in the office two days prior to the dance.

3.  Individuals from freshman or sophomore year will be allowed to enter the dance only with a signed underclassmen permission slip. If there are special situations, it will require administration approval.

4.  Guests must abide by Stillman Valley High School rules. SVHS student will be held responsible for non-student behavior and actions.

5.  Guests will refrain from inappropriate or illegal activities.

6.  Guests must immediately leave the school or site premises, if asked by school authorities.

7.  Guests will pay for any damage or other expenses incurred by virtue of attendance.

8.  I realize that I will not be granted entrance into prom if it is found that I am not with an SVHS Junior or Senior.

9.  I realize I will be asked to leave prom if I am not the escort of an SVHS Junior or Senior.

10.  No refund will be given if any rules are violated.

11.  Any SVHS student that has incurred ten or more days of suspension during the current school year is ineligible to attend.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT

As a Stillman Valley High School student, I understand that all expectations and rules in the SVHS Student Handbook apply to my guest. I will take the responsibility to inform my guest of these rules.
