Green Team (School Council)

The Green Team met for the first time last week and did a meet and greet around the table so the team could get to know each other.

This week they already have plans to discuss about compost.

Harvest Festival: For our Harvest Assembly we will be collecting food donations for the Foodbank at Tesco who then donate it to the local Foodbanks for people who are struggling. If you can help with this worthwhile cause, please bring in any of the items detailed on the little Foodbank hand-out to help these families in crisis. Your kindness is very much appreciated. The Harvest Assembly itself will be held at 9:15 on Wednesday 12th October at the Stalham Baptist Church. We hope you can be there to join in the celebrations. Many thanks.

PTFA: The PTFA are holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 13th October at 3:10pm in the school hall. Letters have gone out to you all with full details. The more people that can join in, the more we can do for the children in this school. Everyone is welcome to join at this meeting, please come along if you can. Thank you.

Water in School: Please make sure that your child has his/her water bottle freshly filled with water (not juice or squash) in school every day.

Replacement bottles are available from the office priced £1.00.

School Uniforms:

Just to let you know Mrs. Cole and Mrs. Mixer are ready for any uniform demands that you may have, they are all stocked up and ready to go! This now includes Book Bags for those of you who have been waiting for one!

After School Football Club:

This runs onevery Monday 3pm – 4pm and is for Squirrels and Foxes only.

Dates start 19th September and run through until half term break. A new football club then starts up after half term. When collecting your child, please use the iron gate entrance into the school playground as the office will be shut and unable to let you in through Main Entrance.This club is now full until half term but if your child would like to put their name down for next half term please complete the slip and hand it into Mrs Cole or Mrs Mixer in the office. Thank you.

Special Themed Lunch : On Thursday 6th October Norse are offering the children a “Numbers and Shapes” Lunch menu. With Tasty Triangles (Margherita Pizza) and Round and Round in Circles (sautéed potatoes) followed by a Pick a Number Pudding (Chocolate Mousse) The demand for this meal is expected to be high, if you child would like a hot dinner on that day please pre-order in the office by Friday 23rd September. Thank you.
