Late bookings may be accepted at the discretion of the Rally Organiser, please contact them directly if you have missed the closing date.

Where indicated ** rallies will be grouped by ability. Your child will have been put into a ride group based on tests achieved, confidence and experience.

Training & Tests - If there are any up coming training sessions or Tests, there will be information and dates in this section. If you are interested in taking a Pony club Test, please contact Kim Callcutt. If you would like to work towards a particular Pony Club achievement badge then also please contact either Kim Callcutt or Sharon Corke.

Competitions and Dates for your Diary - Below are upcoming external events, clinics and competitions that may NOT be associated with SSHBPC but may be of interest to you.

Triathlon & Tetrathlon - Pony Club Tetrathlon is very much like Modern Pentathlon, which you may have seen in the Olympics. It provides Members with a challenging competition requiring practical horsemanship, general athletic ability and a steady hand for shooting. Tetrathlon originated as a competition for boys however there are now competitions for girls and for different ages groups. We are hoping to arrange some training with the Albrighton Pony Club—Watch this space!

Rally Etiquette - We would like to politely remind you to:-

Turn up for all rallies clean, tidy, and wearing your Pony Club sweat-shirt, dark or beige jodhpurs/ breeches.

Always wear your riding hat when mounted with the strap fastened. (See DC if you have not had it tagged showing correct standard)

Be on time! Rally times in the programme indicate the start time of your lesson and not when to arrive. Please ensure you arrive at the venue in good time and be tacked up and ready to ride at least 5 minutes before the start of your lesson.

(Parents) please watch from a distance and try not to give extra instruction!

(Members) please remember to thank the Instructor, the Organiser and Host.

Please clear up around your trailer before you leave.

Tack and Turnout - Tack and turnout will be judged at EVERY rally, and points will be recorded towards the Tack & Turnout Prize at the end of the year. So, please have a clean pony, and of course squeaky clean tack! Although not compulsory, extra points will be awarded for those who get up early to plait and have the finishing touches such as hair nets, gloves etc.
