Soap Box Car Requirements

  • Box used for body of car should be no bigger than 2 ½” wide and 4” long.
  • With wheels added on, car can be no wider than 5”.
  • Final weight of car can be up to one pound ONLY.
  • No electrical or battery operated parts can be put onto the car.

For this family project, please plan to use materials you have at home – we don’t want this to turn into an expense for you! For wheels, think of using: Lego parts, prescription bottle lids, milk lids, poker chips, juice lids, or any other round item. Enjoy working on this with each family member in your home – this will make great memories! Cars may be turned in any time fromTuesday, October 17th – Wednesday, October 18th.
