Soap Box Car Requirements

Box used for body of car should be no bigger than 2 ½” wide and 4” long.
With wheels added on, car can be no wider than 5”.
Final weight of car can be up to one pound ONLY.
No electrical or battery operated parts can be put onto the car.

For this family project, please plan to use materials you have at home – we don’t want this to turn into an expense for you! For wheels, think of using: Lego parts, prescription bottle lids, milk lids, poker chips, juice lids, or any other round item. Enjoy working on this with each family member in your home – this will make great memories! Cars may be turned in any time fromTuesday, October 17th – Wednesday, October 18th.
