1-  Teaching of medical students about different psychiatric disorders and substance abuse disorders.

2-  Participation in psychiatric researches that planned and done by our psychiatric and addiction unit.

3-  One of the main supervisors of both psychiatric and addiction units which include: 77 inpatient beds for different psychiatric disorders and 10 beds for substance abuse disorders as a separate section, three days/wk for the outpatient clinic, and one day/wk for the substance abuse outpatient services.

4-  Participation in society service, in the form of regular participation in medical convoys and campaigns for the under-served urban areas of Assiut.

5-  Doing cognitive behavioural psychotherapy on inpatient and outpatient basis.

6-  Training of the newly assigned resident doctors.

·  A registered psychiatric inspector at the ministry of health responsible for the evaluation of psychiatric patients who will be admitted compulsory.

·  Registered for the Doctorate degree in psychiatry on 24/5/2009 and expect to get it on June 2015.

·  Assistant lecturer for five years with teaching clinical rounds and lectures to the undergraduate (4th, 5th and 6th grades).

·  Postgraduate teaching for the house officers in Assuit University from 2005 till now.

·  Development of a new program for Tramadol use disorder treatment with cultural adaptation to be suitable for the Egyptian community in collaboration with the ISAP, UCLA and Matrix institute.

·  Development of conclusions, abstracts and manuscripts from the data collected about the Prevalence and clinical correlates of substance use among children and adolescents inpatients using electronic health records at Virginia treatment center for children.
