Dear St. Finn Barr Parish/School Community:

The committee of St. Finn Barr Parish and St. Finn Barr School welcome the community to join us at St. Finn Barr Church fora unity mass at 10:30am following with a Pancake Breakfast/Brunch at Goode Parish Hall.

This is a Parish and School Event. To make this event a success, we need to have as much participation from the Parish and School as possible. Please ask family and friends for their support.

We are requesting volunteers to help with this event. Please indicate below the area(s) you would like to help.

*Shifts for some volunteer tasks are about 1 ½ to 2 hours but you are welcome to work full-time (both shifts)

PRE-EVENT – SET UP (about 4 volunteers, 1 ½ hours, Sunday, September 30th, 2012 in the Parish Hall)

-Prep kitchen for items coming in and start coffee percolators by around 10:00am (takes over an hour)

Knights of Columbus will set up tables the Saturday night before, after their event

EVENT

Cashiers (4 volunteers per 2 shifts)

-2 people each for 2 separate check-in lines at the front door (pre-order line and walk-in line)

Kitchen Help

- Pancake station (3 volunteers per 2 shifts)

____1 mixing batter

____1 cooking pancakes on stove

____1 runner (bringing food from kitchen to service line, getting more from fridge, etc.)

-Egg station (3 volunteers per 2 shifts)

____ 1 scrambling eggs

____ 1 cooking eggs on stove

____ 1 runner (bringing food from kitchen to service line, getting more from fridge, etc.)

-Bacon/Sausage station (2 volunteers per 2 shifts)

____ 1 cooking bacon/sausages in the oven (on racks to let grease drip)

____ 1 runner (bringing food from kitchen to service line, getting more from fridge, etc.)

-Dishes/Garbage station (1volunteer per 2 shifts)

____ 1 cleaning dishes/ checking garbage (removing full bags and inserting new bags)

Food Servers(2 volunteers per 2 shifts)
