★Important info regarding senior yearbook photos★

Senior Yearbook Photo Requirements— We need three (3) photos this year!

This year, every senior will need to have a photo taken by the school photographer. Those photos will be placed in a folder on reserve. If the yearbook staff does not receive a professional photo meeting the requirements below by the deadline of October 20, 2017, then the yearbook staff will use this file photo. There are NO extensions on the deadline available.

These file photos will also be used in PowerSchool as they are the only legal photos we can use for our website. Therefore, EVERY senior must have a photo taken. We encourage you to have the senior photo session with a professional photographer. If however, you do not want to spend that additional money, please see Miss Spence in room 401 and she will make arrangements with you to take your senior photo in an outdoor setting. Please see her by October 6, 2017 if you need that photo taken. Otherwise, we will use the studio photo taken in September for your senior portrait.

Please understand that we have to make these adjustments due to past issues with submissions past the deadline costing us additional fees. Our goal is to sell the yearbook at $55 plus tax for as long as possible. We can meet that goal if we no longer face these rush fees for a missed deadline.

A.The requirements for the senior portrait are as follows:

  1. Head and shoulder photo only with NO hands in it.
  2. The submitted photo must be a full color image.
  3. The file size is a traditional wallet size (2.5 by 3.5 inches) up to a 4x6 inch file.
  4. The file must be 300 DPI. This means the file size will be around a minimum of one megabyte (1 MB). Anything smaller will not work in the layout.

Senior portraits must be sent to .

B. We also must have all baby or toddler photos of the seniors submitted byOctober 20, 2017 as well. Please send those files to .

C.A recent (2016-2017 to a very recent) full body image of each senior is due by October 20, 2017.

  1. This photo must be full color.
  2. It can be an action photo of the senior in a sport or working with a hobby.
  3. A plain background is preferred. We will be removing the backgrounds from these photos so a plain background makes the process quicker. If you don’t have a plain background as an option, we will work with it.

Seniors, to sum up, we would love to have three photos from you in order for the layout to look its best.

1Your professionally done senior portrait.

2Your baby picture (baby or toddler photo)

3Your full body image of you.
