Scholarships Will Be Awarded to Qualified Candidates
Funding each year will be dependent upon fundraiser proceeds
Two $500 scholarships will be awarded in 2015.
- Scholarships will be awarded to qualified candidates.
- Applicants cannot be awarded the scholarship two consecutive years.
- Please Note: The scholarship funding may not be applied toward the FMEA Clinic/Conference in January.
Criteria
- Applicant must have been a member in good standing of FEMEA for the past 2 years.
- Application must:
- Outline how funding would be utilized
- Include a breakdown of anticipated costs
- State the significance of how this training will impact student learning
- State how professional development learning will be shared with colleagues
- Funding may be applied toward:
• Workshop/conference registration, transportation, and/or housing.
(This funding may NOT be used to pay membership dues for any organization.)
4. A brief follow-up article will be required, including documentation of how the scholarship funds were spent. This article must be emailed to the FEMEA Executive Director at within 30 days of the training’s completion. The article will be published on the FEMEA web site.

Selected applicants will by notified byMarch 15, 2015.
The applications will be evaluated and awardees selected by a committee of Board members to be appointed by the FEMEA President.
