Who are Scatterbrains Parties 4 Kids Limited?

We are a private limited company offering a range of educational workshops and fun and wacky birthday parties for children. We also trade under the name Scripto, which is the grown-up version of our business. Under our Scripto brand we deliver a wide range of creative writing courses and workshops for adults.

All of our Scatterbrainiacs are fully enhanced DBS checked and you can also find a copy of our safeguarding policy here.

The types of information we collect

When your child attends one of our events we will ask you to complete a parental consent form to enable us to publish their work. The parental consent form also contains a range of marketing options (which you are under no obligation to select). After opting in, you can also unsubscribe from any of our communications at any time either by clicking on the link in the email, or by emailing with the subject header “Unsubscribe.”

We also ask people attending our Scripto workshops to complete a marketing consent form. (This is not compulsory) and you may decline.

If you apply to join our team we may also hold personal data about you.

Depending on the nature of your relationship with us, this may include, your children’s names and ages, your financial details, tax information, name, email address, postal address, telephone or mobile number or date of birth.

If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may ask you to complete surveys, although you do not have to respond to them.
