Sample Club Membership Refund Policy

The attendance of RMIT University students in Sports Clubs is dependent on their agreement to the following declaration, which may be in written or digital form:

REFUNDS:

•Refunds will only be considered if an “Application for Refund” form is completed and lodged through the relevant club’s email address within 15 business days following registration with the Club.

•Applicants are required to supply supporting evidence such as a medical certificate or letter from relevant academic department to support such claims to accompany the application for refund.

•All applications for refund forms are subject to individual approval by a Club Committee member and will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the “Application for Refund” form. Notification of the outcome will be sent via email. Please note these are all individual cases and approval procedures may differ.

•A standard handling fee of $10.00 will be charged for all refunds and will be deducted from any refunded amount. The remaining funds will then be electronically transferred back to the club members nominated bank account.

•In the event of a Club or Club Event being overbooked or cancelled, the participant will receive a full refund.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Refunds will only be considered if an “application for refund” form is submitted, with any supporting information to the relevant Club’s email address within 15 business days following registration.

If your application is approved, the remaining funds will then be transferred back to the club members nominated bank account. If there is an issue with your refund you will be contacted by email or by phone. Please allow ten (10) days for processing.

For your application to be considered, you must adhere to the RMIT Sport Club MembershipRefund Policy.

REFUND PROCESSING - HANDLING FEE

At the time of refund processing, a handling fee of $10.00 will be charged. This is specified in the RMIT Sport Club Membership Refund Policy.
