RULES AND REGULATIONS (1/18)

1. The exhibitor hereby releases the Salem County Cooperative Fair Association, Inc. from any and all responsibility or liability for injury or damage to any of the above entries or exhibits and also releases and agrees to indemnify the Salem County Cooperative Fair Association, Inc. against any damage, claim, legal proceeding or judgment arising out of the transportation, entry or exhibition of the above listed entries or exhibits at said Fair and further agrees to hold the Salem County Cooperative Fair Association, Inc. harmless from loss of property or claim or suit for injury, damage or blame resulting from any personal injury sustained by the exhibitor, his agents, servants, employees, licensees, or guests by reason of any cause whatsoever.

2. Set up information: Set up is (not before) Monday 5:00-9:00 P.M. or Tuesday 9:00 AM until noon. Anyone entering the grounds after noon will have to purchase a parking pass. Check in for exhibit space location must take place by NOON Tuesday, unless prior arrangements are made. After1:00 your space may be re-assigned to another exhibitor. Machinery dealers – check with Fair personnel for your set up times. No trucks, vans, etc. will be permitted into the exhibit area to unload after NOON on Tuesday.

Tear down information: Exhibits may not betaken down before 9:00 PM on Friday, and cars, trucks, vans, etc. may not come onto the exhibit area before 9:30 PM. Friday. All exhibitsmust beremoved from the Fairgrounds no later than 10:00 AM on Saturday.. Exhibits are to be open to the public until 9:00 PM daily. Security will continue to be provided Friday night.

3. “Home prepared” foods: It is the responsibility of vendors who sell home prepared foods (foods prepared in a kitchen that has not been inspected by the Local Health Dept.) to contact the Salem County Dept. of Health (856-935-7510 x 8448) to secure an “Unregulated Food Notice”.

4. Adequate lighting will be supplied by the Fair Assn. (You will need a ladder and long cord!) Any additional or special electrical needs will need coordination and approval of a member of the Fair’s Ex. Committee.

5. Security protection around the clock is provided and all reasonable precautions are taken to protect the exhibitor’s property. Special items of value should be removed overnight. Booths not manned are the responsibility of the vendor. The Fair Assn. is not responsible for any items left after noon Saturday.

6. No gambling or selling of chances is permitted by Pilesgrove Township.

7. All buildings and the attached shed row booths are smoke free.

8. Tents: It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to see that their tent has a fireproof rating indicated.

9. Live animals cannot be sold. No crafts/etc. that resemble “weapons” can be sold.

10. Motorized vehicles: only vehicles operated by Fair personnel can be used on the grounds..

11. Any special problems or changes to the above will be at the discretion of the Fair Officials.

The Exhibitor hereby agrees to comply with all Rules and Regulations set forth by the Salem Co. Fair Assn.
