  1. Meeting called to order at 7:17andquorum was established.
  2. Minutes were amended that Darin Bell won a TV but did not donate TV for Football film. Kami Findall made motion to approve and Connie Vacek seconded the motion and motion to approve carried.

  1. Fall Sports Kick-Off August 19 was a success great turnout great food. Thanks to Connie Vacek, JJ and Jesse Stoffel, Chris Niederle, Brett Matthies, Jeff McGill, Jody Kloewer for hours of smoked meat prep, food prep, sides assembly. Thank you day of event volunteers who put it all together.
  1. TREASURER’S REPORT: Financial Report attached, Balance of $26,384.84 after commitments.
  1. COMMITTEE REPORT:
  2. CONCESSIONS: Fall has many events and steady need for volunteers.
  1. CLOTHING: New process to streamline will be monthly orders for Uniforms and spirit wear. Last order was over 350 pieces. New ordering will ease volunteer efforts. Chris Findall made a motion for 3k to cover $1800 for water bottles, $500 for 500 car decals, $700 for Female Hoodies. Jeff Gorczyca seconded and the motion was approved. (Items should generate over 4.5k in sales once sold)
  2. SPONSORSHIP: Making progress on contacting past corporate sponsors, a few new ones. Lifetime-family-individual sponsorships are down significantly. Dan mentioned a raffle at football games to encourage individual sponsorship. Seeking volunteers to develop a committee to retain and cultivate new corporate sponsorships and individual sponsorships.
  3. ACTIVITY DIRECTOR REPORT:Sports by the numbers. Girls Golf- 5, Football-77, Boys Tennis-10, Softball-3, Girls Cross Country -9 Boys Cross Country-9, Volleyball-44 of which 18 are freshman. Tom Kassing thanked booster club for the purchase of EndZone Camera.

Payment of Football Jerseys paid.

Tree safety and aesthetics taken care of by Greg-Owner of GP Lively and RCHS wrestling coach NW Rummel Stadium light bank still needs to be addressed.

Coaches Shirts ordered and partially received.

  1. NEW/CURRENT BUSINESS:

Interactive Records TV- Mobile and stationary to display digitally school records. Still gathering more information on it.

Motion to replace Girls Basketball with a not to exceed $4k made by Russ Ortmeier, Seconded by John Yetter and motion carried.

Meeting with Debbie Bremer (PIP) to discuss fence line signage will be scheduled discussed

2nd paint Machine: Looking into a used/refurbished machine

Stadium Scoreboard additional $1,330 check received for Scoreboard from Tricia Wiese for sale of Vacek home. St. James boosters donated $1,500 earmarked for scoreboard. Total earmarked for scoreboard is $2,830.00. Tabled

Weight Room equipment (wishlist) nothing new to report.

Discussion brought up by Brent Hodgen on lack of student volunteers in concessions who are the main benefactors of the booster club purchases. Asked if coaches could encourage participation. Westside example where athletes are required to work in non season sports was mentioned. No easy solution but to keep asking for volunteers and hopefully pull some folks to help that have not done it.

Motion to Dismiss by Bernie Wiese and seconded by Jeff Gorczyca motion carried.
