Re: West End Theatre visit to see “School of Rock” and “The Harry Potter Studio Tour”

St Michael’s Performing Arts department would like to encourage our pupils to experience as much live theatre as possible. We have consequently organised a visit to London to see both “School of Rock” and “The Harry Potter Studio Tour” during the October half term, and your child has expressed an interest in taking part in the trip.

We will leave St Michael’s on Monday the 30st October 2017 and arrive in London in the early afternoon. The group will enjoy a Pizza Hut meal, before moving onto see “School of Rock” New London Theatre. That evening the pupils will be spending the night at the Meininger Hotel at Hyde Park.

On Tuesday the 31st October 2017the party will have the opportunity to spend the morning at Covent Garden before eating a packed lunch that will be provided for them, and going on to see the Harry Potter Studio Tour. Following this they will be returning back to School.

The final cost of this trip is dependent upon the exact number of pupils who wish to go, but were fifty children to be interested in going we have been informed that the final cost would be £183 per person. This includes: coach travel, evening meal on Monday the 30stOctober, a packed lunch on Tuesday the 31st October, accommodation, and tickets to both events. Provision will need to be made for a lunch on the journey down, and for a meal on the way back to Chorley.

If you would like your child to take part in this visit please return the attached slip, by the 26th of May. A deposit of £70 should also be made via school comms, or in a cheque made payable to St. Michael’s Church of England Academy Trust.Please note, further letters will follow giving the precise cost and payment deadlines, full details of accommodation / itinerary, along with a request for relevant medical information.
