Re: Theatre visit to see “School of Rock” and the “Harry Potter Studio Tour”.

As I am sure you are aware your child has paid £70 depositfor the theatre trip to London. I am writing to confirm your child’s place on this trip, to inform you of some important dates, and to ask that you complete some essential documentation.

I initially wish to confirm that the trip will depart on Monday the 30th of October, and return on Tuesday the 31st of October. I have been informed that the final balance for this trip will be a total of £183 per person. I would therefore ask that the outstanding balance of £113 pounds be made payable via the school gateway or cheque to St Michael’s Church of England Academy by Friday the 14th of July at the latest. If you wish to pay in smaller instalments rather than in a lump sum it would be acceptable, but all monies must be received by the 14th of July, as this is when the tour company will be requesting the final balance. If you then at any time wish to withdraw your child from this trip you will, be required to pay the full balance unless we can find another pupil who is willing to take their place and cover the full cost.

Secondly you will be required to attend a short evening meeting at school to inform you further of our arrangements for the trip. This will be held on Tuesday the10thof October at 7.00pm. At this meeting we will give you a detailed itinerary, contact information, and the expectations that we will have in relation to your child’s behaviour on this trip.

Finally I would ask that you complete the attached medical information form and return it to me as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary plans for any special medical or dietary needs that your child might have.If you have any further questions or concerns in relation to this trip please do not hesitate to contact me.
