I have professional background and extensive experience as radiocom system engineering, technical writing and project management in an international career at a Hi-Tech Company. For the five last years I switched to Translation and Technical Writing as my final vocation.

1.General personal data

1. Studies:1974 – 1978Graduated as B.Sc. Electronics & Electrical Engineering at Haifa Technion Institute

1. Languages:Hebrew – Mother Language level, fluently speaks, reads and writes

French – Mother Language level, fluently speaks, reads and writes

English – fluently speaks, reads and writes, specialized in technical doc.

In my professional engineering activities, I made intensive use of French and English for marketing, technical writing, presentations and lectures, technical meetings, etc.

2.Professional experience as free-lance 2003 – 2008

Intensive activity with translation companies and hi-tech industries related with translation and technical writing in/to/from English/French/Hebrew. The documents I worked on are related to instructions manuals, marketing requirements, user guide, safety and environment guidance, production guide, contract book, technical assumptions, Acceptance Test Procedure, insurance, contracts, etc. Samples can be provided on demand.

3.Professional experience at Motorola Israel 1985 – 2003

Senior System Engineer,providing engineering support to the International Sales Groups. The support consisted of the following activities:

• Working out best technical and competitive solution, including system description, equipment & added services listing & pricing, commercial proposal, terms & conditions, and documentation.
• Working out system description, Statement Of Work (SOW), documentation, training, writing down all testing procedures for Factory and Site Acceptance Tests for the supplied system.
• Engineering & marketing support in Israel and Africa markets both English & French speaking, including road-shows, documentation, presentations and seminars to Customers, using Hebrew, English and French languages.

1986 - 1999

Relocation to France as System Integration Manager at Motorola France close to Paris with family. Took active part in sales, marketing, design and implementation of important projects in France and other western countries, using English and French as business languages.

4.Military career at IDF/IAF 1962 - 1985

• Jan 1986: retired from the IAF after 24 years
• 1983- 1986: Officer Engineer, manager of Comm & Nav Dpt at IAF HQ, responsible of all Comm & Nav ground equipment and facilities in all IAF bases.
