Sunday 40 km (Red) Route 06:20 hrs to 07:00 hrs

Saturday/Sunday 10 km (Yellow) Route 08:15 hrs to 09:00 hrs
Entry to RAF Cosford is not possible until 0600hrs both days

1. ORGANISERS. The Walk is organised by the RAF Walking and Road Marching Association.
2. START AND FINISH.
The walk starts & finishes at RAF Cosford, Nr Wolverhampton. WV7 3EX. RAF COSFORD is located on the A41 just south of Junction 3 of the M54, follow the signs for RAFMuseum from the M54 motorway. The entry gate will open at 0600hrs. All Walkers must return off the routes by 1700 on Saturday & 1600 on Sunday
Walkers will be required to bring Photo-ID (Passport or Photo Driving Licence) along with receipt of entry for access to the start at RAF Cosford. Start will open at 0600hrs.

4. CAR PARKING. Car Parking will be available at the start, and will be controlled by RAF WARMA Officials. Participants are requested to comply with the directions of these officials.
5. WALK SERVICES. First Aid cover will be available at the Start/Finish & on the route. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the start/finish and control points, with free squash at the control points.
6. PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
The nearest Railway station is at Cosford and is adjacent to the start.
7. TERRAIN. The routes are predominantly on public roads. Routes will be marked and maps will be provided. The 40km route includes a section of approx 7km along a canal bank on Saturday’s route.
These events are exempt from the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations.
8. ENTRY PROCEDURE. Entry is NOT available at the event. You MUST pre-register for this event and send the requested information for each walker by email or post to arrive no later than Saturday 7th April 2018. You do not need to send your payment– you can pay in cash on arrival. All entrants will be required to have a receipt of entry along with their Photo-ID when arriving at the event, so please check your email account for your receipt.To pay with your entry, you can pay by Bank Transfer to: Account Name: Royal Air Force Walking & Road Marching Association. Account Number:36555754. Sort Code: 54-10-23. Bank transfer to be completed by 7th April and quote your surname and 2DC2018 in the reference field.
If you have not received your receipt of entry within 7 days please contact us, this will need to be before the entry deadline so we can resolve any missing entries. If you are not registered by 7th April you will unfortunately not be able to take part, so please do contact us before the 7th if you’ve not had your receipt of entry.
9. RULES.
a. The walk is open to any individual or team on submission of the requested information and appropriate entry fee(s).
b. Walkers under 16 years of age MUST have parental consent to enter, and be accompanied by a responsible person.
c. Obey the country and highway codes.
d. Anyone spreading litter, causing any form of damage or defacing the route will be disqualified and may face prosecution.
e. The organisers are not liable for accidents, theft and/or damage to property. Every effort will be made by the organisers to make this a safe, enjoyable and memorable event.
f. The walk will take place, whatever the weather.
g. Entry fees are not normally refundable under any circumstances.
10. ACCOMMODATION. The organisers regret that accommodation on RAF Cosford is not available. (Military personnel will not be able to request accommodation directly with RAF Cosford).
