Trelleborg figure skating club (TreKK) is looking for a new head coach(or coach team) to train and develop our skaters and reach new goals from august 2016. Our presenthead coach is moving to Stockholm with his family in the end of the summer.

TreKKgives everybody a chance to skate. We encourage the skaters to develop and our mission is to have skaters at all levels. Today the club has about 40 competitive skaters and 120 kids in skating school.

Our skating school staff is educated and has several years of experience teaching kids. Right now we have a groups of young skaters that just started to compete. The competitive skaters have different levels. In the top we have 3 national skaters competing the Elite serie in Sweden and in Europe at ISU level. About 10 skaters in the A serie and several skaters at B and C level.

Head coach

We are looking for a coach to lead the club and be responsible for our competitive skaters from beginners to elite level. You will make schedules, group sessions and lead the rest of the coaches towards new goals for the future. Lessons at daytime to high school students (gymnasium) that has figure skating on their schedule will also be included.

To work in a team with the other younger coaches, the board and the parents comes naturally to you as a way to reach the goals for the club and its members.

Some administration work will follow that has to do with the competitive skaters.

Education/ Experience

The head coach needs to have a high educationlevel in the sport, preferably university degree and experience of teaching at all levels. Knowledge of the Swedish system is a preference.

You also have experience of doing competitive programs and some choreography or if you are a team and complete each other.

Your personality, attitude and ability to co operate is valuable for us.

Employment

As a head coach you work full time from August to May. We have 25h scheduled ice hours each week. Off ice, holiday practice, ice-shows and competitions is included.

Salary, advantage and work time is negotiatable.

Trelleborg is a small town in south of Sweden close to the border of Denmark, Copenhagen, Malmoe airport and Germany. About 43000 people lives in the community of Trelleborg.

The sport center were we are located at is a multiarena with ice rink, athletic ground and sport facilities.
