1.  What is the product about?

Skim Amanah Rakyat 1Malaysia (SARA 1M) Loan is another form of term loan to purchase Amanah Saham 1Malaysia (AS1M) unit trust. It is offered to eligible Bumiputera & non-bumiputera age 18 to 58 years old with combined gross household monthly income of between RM500 to RM3,000. The distribution is based on first-come-first serve basis, subject to terms and conditions and availability of the fund.

2.  What is the monthly deposit amount that I have to pay?

You are to commit to deposit RM84.00 every month for 59 months and RM44.00 for the 60th month to the Bank as principal payment until end of loan tenure for 5 years.

3.  What are the charges or additional fees that I have to pay?

No fee and charges will be charged to the customer.

4.  What if I fail to pay the monthly deposit?

You will be considered to be in default of the Scheme in the event that you failed to make any deposits into the Special Deposit Account for three (3) consecutive months, or the total of any deposits over a period of three (3) consecutive months is less than a month Deposit Amount. The Bank reserves the right to sell the AS 1Malaysia Units pledged to the Bank and credit the proceeds towards adjustment of your liability with the Bank.

5.  What if I give false information to the bank?

SPV/Maybank has the right to terminate your participation in the scheme in the event of any false information given by you and all costs incurred shall be borne by yourself.
