Welcome to Dare to Dance Canberra Pty Ltd (D2D).. Please read the following text informing you of our terms and conditions. Kindly date and sign and hand back to the manager to file on our records.

  • Once your child is enrolled you will be charged for classes until a parent/guardian informs teacher/s otherwise.
  • Once your child is enrolled you will take full responsibility of there actions to and from the studio/dance event. Dare to Dance Canberra P/L will only take responsibility between there allocated timeslot (i.e. Jazz 2 is held on Wednesday between 4.30-5.30) Please don’t leave other children at the studio as this isn’t child care.
  • Once your child is enrolled you will abide by the dress regulations/uniforms.
  • You will be charged for SOME public holiday’s that fall during the term however classes will not be held, unless stated otherwise. It is your responsibility to attend a makeup class if you so wish.
  • You will be charged for missed classes due to your child being unwell or having other commitments.
  • All classes participated in must be paid for unless it is your child’s first lesson where it is free.
  • If fees are not received within 2 weeks of the issue date on invoice a $20.00 late fee will incur. If fees are still not paid then another fee will be added. In some cases we are more then happy to sort out a payment plan for families in need however we need to be consulted prior to this.
  • When making payments online please state either the students name or the invoice number. Not the parent name.
  • Please use slightly extended business hours of 9.00am-7.00pm Monday-Saturday to make contact with the Teacher/s. Calls after this time will not be taken. Alternatively talk to teacher/s during your child’s class or send an email.
  • If your child is unwell with a contagious bug/infection, insure they stay home and away from the other students and Teacher/s. Please ensure children are clean for their lesson and wash hands regularly to help stop the spread of germs.
  • Ballet Students wishing to do a Ballet Exam will be required to attend 2 ballet classes of their own grade a week as well as any other genre they wish.
  • D2D assumes that all students will take part in the Annual Concert unless contacted by parents or guardians by term 3 each year. Concert Fees (CF) is a $10 per student per term charge factored in to ALL fees from term 1 onwards.
  • All parent/guardians will follow the instructions given when students are performing.
  • You will be responsible to read all correspondence found on our website or in the studio or via email.
  • No refunds will be given under any circumstances. There is a free trial offered as well as a 2 week grace period for accounts to be settled. That’s three (3) weeks to finalise payments.
