JACKSON, WYOMING, JANUARY 26, 2018
The Pedigree® Stage Stop Race, now in its 23rd year, commenced its 2018 event starting on Town Square in downtown Jackson, Wyoming Friday night, January 26, 2018.

Pedigree® Stage Stop Race Director, Dan Carter, announced the winners of the exhibition race in Jackson, Wyoming tonight.

PEDIGREE® STAGE STOP RACE:
Dennis LaBoda placed first in tonight’s eventfollowed by JR Anderson in secondandDave Torgerson taking third place.Bruce Magnusson placed fourth, followed by Alix Crittenden, Greta Thurston, Jerry Scdoris and Jeff Conn in fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth places respectively. Lina Streeper placed ninth, Chris Adkins tenth, Laura Daugereau eleventh, and Austin Forney and twelfth.

EUKANUBATM 8-DOG CLASSIC RACE:
In the Eukanuba 8-Dog ClassicFernando Ramirez who was competing in the event for his first time placed first. Linda Pierceplaced second, and Liz Roberts third. Finishing fourth tonight is first time competitor Rusty Wilsey.Jane Devlin placed fifth, Gabe Dunham sixth. Jeff Adkins, Monica Magnusson, and Tim Thiessen placed 7th, 8th and 9th respectively. Clayton Perryplaced tenth and Jordan Hillock eleventh.

From Jackson, we travel to Alpine, Wyoming with the following schedule:
Day 2 — Stage 1 — Saturday, January 27 th —Alpine, Wyoming.

9:00 AM RACE STARTSat Greys River Trail Head Parking Lot. Warming Tent at Greys River Trail Head for food and refreshments.

Saturday January 27 th— Kemmerer, Wyoming.
6:00 PM Fundraiser Dinner and Program at South Lincoln Training & Event Center.

Day 3 — Stage 2 — Sunday, Stage 2 January 28 th — Kemmerer, Wyoming.
9:00 AM RACE STARTS at the end of the Hams Fork Road, Hams Fork Trail Head.

Sunday, Stage 2 January 28 th — Kemmerer, Wyoming.

Eukanuba 8-Dog Classic awards immediately following the race at the warming tent at the trailhead. Meet and Greet at the Town Triangle, downtown Kemmerer, for one hour.

Sunday January 28 th — Marbleton, Wyoming.
6:00 PM. Meet the Mushers Dinner at the Senior Center, 429 East 1st Street,Marbleton.

Day 4 — Stage 3 — Monday, Stage 3 January 29th — Big Piney/Marbleton.
9:00 AM RACE STARTS at Middle Piney Parking Lot off road 350, 20 miles from Big Piney.

Monday January 29 th — Pinedale, Wyoming.
6:00 PM. Meet the Mushers Dinnerat the Sublette County Library, South Tyler. Meal sponsored by the Pinedale FFA, Community Sponsored Event.

Day 5 — Stage 4 — Tuesday, Stage 4 January 30 th — Pinedale, Wyoming.
9:00 AM RACE STARTS at the Upper Green River Trailhead, Cora at the end of Hwy 352. Kendall Valley Lodge serves Breakfast & Lunch Specials; west of Upper Green Parking Lot.

Tuesday January 30 th — Lander, Wyoming.
5:30 — 6:30 PM. Meet the Teamsdowntown Lander. Lander Bake Shop hosting the 2017 Pedigree Stage Stop Movie.

Day 6 — Stage 5 — Wednesday, Stage 5 January 31st — Lander, Wyoming.
9:00 AM RACE STARTS at Louis Lake parking lot on top of South Pass Hwy 28.

Day 7 — Stage 6 — Friday, Stage 6 February 2nd — Driggs, Idaho.
9:00 AM RACE STARTS at Kay Dairy Trail Head, 8.5 miles from Hwy 33 on 4000 N.
Parking at the Start/Finish is limited. Please plan to carpool.There is no free shuttle this year, however individuals needing transportation may contact TRPTA at208-529-1489to book a ride at least 24hrs ahead.
