*Please keep this as a reminder on how to test your system*

TESTING YOUR ALARM SYSTEM

Please follow these steps monthly to ensure that your system is properly communicating with our monitoring station:

  1. You will need your correct account number and pass code.
  1. Call the monitoring station. This phone number is on the call cards you received from us. If you do not have a call card, please call or email our office and we will send you new ones.
  1. Give them your name and/or the business name, account number and pass code.
  1. Ask them to put the system in “test”. (Test means they will not dispatch if a signal is received.)
  1. Arm your system, go through the entire home or business and set off each device. The siren needs to go off for about 40 seconds. If you need to test a sump pump monitor, please contact our office for specific instructions.
  1. Turn the alarm off, call the monitoring station back and ask if they received the signal. They should have a signal for each device that you set off.
  1. If they received the proper signals, ask them to take it out of test (or it will remain in test for 8 hrs).
  1. If they did not receive the proper signals, please call our Service Department 810-664-6606.

CALL LIST

*Any and all changes to your call list must be made in writing. Email changes are accepted provided the account number and address are included. *

For residential customers, when setting up your call list please list your cell phone numbers first. For each additional contact, please be sure that they have access to the premise, the keypad code and know how to use the system. They will also need the account number and/or pass code for the account in order to cancel an alarm.

For commercial customers, please list employee’s cell or home phones in the order you would like them called. You may assign individual pass codes for each employee. They also need to have access to the building.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  1. Automatic payment by credit card. (Must have completed form returned to Accting Dept)
  2. Automatic payment from a checking account. (Must have completed form returned to Accting Dept)
  3. Online payment -please go to: thumbalarm.net (From checking account ONLY)
  4. Call in credit card payment or check by phone.
  5. Send in check or money order.
