Our Annual Goal: By the end of the year, at risk students inK-2, identified based on initial ranking forms, will improve numeracy and computation skills as measured by AIMSweb Math Universal Screening Data.

By the end of the year, at risk students in 3-5, identified based on initial math ranking forms, will improve their math comprehension and computation skills as measured by AIMSweb Math Universal Screening Data.

70% of the K-2 literacy students and 75% of the 3-5 students will make four or more quarters of growth measured by Fountas and Pinnell or Teacher’s College reading passages.

2nd quarter Smart Goal- 70% of the students in literacy or ESL intervention will make two quarters of growth in reading measured by running records.

Announcements…

The next PAC meeting will be on February 14th. Parents will be invited to buy breakfast in the cafeteria and come to the library to enjoy reading books with their children.
The literacy teachers will send home a separate invitation to long term students for the PAC STEM night on February 21st in the multi-purpose room. Mrs. Fitts will contact the STEM professor to confirm the details of the February parent workshop.
Intervention teachers should bring their data to the next PLT II meeting so we can compile our assessment results to see if we met our 2nd quarter smart goal.
Intervention teachers will be attending their assigned grade level PLT next Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

III. Planning/ Curriculum…

Due to the various grade levels taught by the intervention team, planning/curriculum is addressed on an individual student basis during Kid Talk.

IV.Action Steps…

Tier II teachers will bring the data of all students tested during the week to our next PLT meeting.
Ms. Miller and Mr. Molter will bring any ESL data gathered during the week.
The Intervention team will continue to support classroom teachers by using digging deeper assessments and universal assessments to identify students who need additional focused instruction.

***Remember S-M-A-R-T focuses on specific, measurable, achievable goals that are result-oriented and have a particular timeframe!!!
