GENERAL RULES

Classes:

  • NAMEF, SAEA & FEI general rules & regulations for Eventing shall apply.
  • NAMEF R&R: Note the General NAMEF R&R on Age Restriction)
  • The FEI and SAEA rules for the cross country shall apply. Any variations of the Cross Country rules will be discussed at the Competitors Briefing, on Friday at 18:00. For more information regarding rules or the cross country track, please contact Holger Kleyenstüber 081 127 05 95 a/h
  • Pony Rider Dressage will be run in a 20x40 Dressage Arena. EV70, EV80, EV90 & EV100 Dressage’s will be run in a 20x60 Dressage Arena
  • At the Judge’s discretion and if all safety precautions are met, riders and horses may continue the cross country course should they get eliminated.
  • Rider/horse combination will only be able to compete in one Eventing Class,either NO 1, 2,3,4,5.
  • ALL PONY/HORSE RIDER COMBINATIONS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH AN AFFILIATED CLUB AND OR INTERNATIONAL / NATIONAL EQUESTRIAN BODY TO ENTER COMPETITIONS 3, 4 &5.

Dress: X-Country:

  • Beige or White Jodhpurs, boots, hard hats with at least 3 point harness is compulsory
  • Sponsored shirts (Supplied by Organising Committee) Please indicate your size on the Entry Form
  • All Horses should have a sursingle “Ueber Gurt”

Dress: Dressage/Jumping:

  • According to NAMEF Rules and Regulations

Camping / Lodging:

  • Camping is free of charge. Tented Camps are available at a Fee – see below.
  • All must bring their own Camping Gear. Lodging facilities will be available for our officials only.
  • Ablution and Camping facilities are available at no cost.
  • 2 PAX Tents with full bedding can be rented at a fee of N$ ?????? per tent for the weekend (Fri-Mon). Bookings for such tents must be done by 1 September 2014. Due to limited tents available, only paid-up bookings will be accepted. Please place your bookings with Dagmar Kubirske ( or 081 216 6139). Upon receipt of payment you will be issued with a booking confirmation number. Refundable cancellations after the 29August 2014will not be accepted.

General:

  • Each Competitor is requested to bring along a Fence Judge (Steward) for the cross country course
  • Competitors please note that Medical cards are compulsory and must be clearly visible on the rider, preferablyonthearm.
  • Please provide a Copy of your Medical Aid Card along with your Entry.
  • Competitors must please provide their blood type – it’s for your own safety!
  • DOGS ARE NOT WELCOME- for pre-arrangements please contact Doris Kleemann 081 203 4210 / 081 147 2989.
  • Compulsory Competitors Meeting on Friday Evening at 18h00.
  • The organisers, any helpers or officials cannot be held liable or responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury sustained to horses, riders, officials or the public and / or their property.
  • Due to water restrictions,Washing of Horses is strictly forbidden! Legs may be washed off, after the Cross-Country test.
  • Arrival from 12h00, Friday 12thSeptember 2014. Enthusiastic helpers are welcome to arrive on Thursday / Friday morning.Catering will be provided.
  • All Competitors must bring their own fodder and bedding for their horses.
  • Grass & Lucerne will be available for purchase. Grass = N$ 40.00 / Bale; Lucerne = N$ 100.00 / Bale
  • Stabling for the weekend N$ 50.00 per horse. Payment directly to Doris Kleemann on separate entry form.
  • Cash Bars will be available throughout the weekend.

Neither NAMEF, RVS, the show jumping body, its officials or representatives as well as the organizers shall in any way be held liable and or responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury sustained by horses, riders, the public or their property at the show, caused by, or resulting from this show.
