2015 SA ANLASSISTANT COACH

The competition will run from Saturday 20th June through to Sunday 26th July. All games will be played on a Saturday or Sunday however some travel around these days may be required.

Training dates will be confirmed once competition dates are finalised.

QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced Level Elite Level High Performance Level

Please note to be eligible for appointment, SA team coaches:

  • Must hold a minimum Advanced Level netball coaching qualification
  • Be a current member of the Coaches/Umpires Association

EXPERIENCE:Please attach an outline of your coaching experience.

I am aware of the duties and responsibilities of the position as detailed in the attached ‘Roles and Responsibilities of the ANL Coach document and agree to undergo a police history check. I understand that Netball SA is the governing body of the South Australian ANL Team and will adhere to all guidelines set by the organisation.

ASSISTANT COACH GUIDELINES FOR NETBALL SA ANL TEAM

  1. Liaise with Head Coach to determine expectations and commitment to all training sessions prior to commencement of training.
  1. The Assistant Coach will be part of the Official Party.
  1. Netball SA will be responsible for the following:
  2. All flight and accommodation bookings
  3. Ground transport and an allocated meal allowance
  4. Providing the official uniform.
  1. At the conclusion of the ANL competition, the Assistant Coach will be required to lodge a written report to the High Performance Manager . A template will be provided for this purpose.
  1. The Head Coach will determine the role and responsibilities of the Assistant Coach and also assist them in their development.

PROCESS FOR SELECTION FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE:

  1. Appropriately qualified coaches will complete the nomination form and forward to the Netball SA Office by the required date.
  1. TheHigh Performance Manager and the Netball SA Head Coach shall interview applicants and advise of the successful candidate.
  1. The High Performance Manager will then advise all applicants of the outcome
