3. SePAnotes- Board is requesting that members consider writing a paragraph and or share information from TRENDS that was memorable or about someone’s lecture you found interesting. One paragraph can be sent to Rose Shaffer.

2.2.Report from national AACN

2.2.1.NTI- May 16-19th 2016, NOLA

2.3. Report from Region 3–Inspiration, Innovation, and Rejuvenation

2.3.1 Regional meeting (Regions 2 and 3) Collaborative, Dr Marty Scott spoke about (HRO’s) high reliability organizations. CAT ( chapter advisors) from Minnesota attended

Next year’s meeting will be in Delaware.

2.3.2 Charlene’s report

2.3.3 Chapter Bylaws-will follow AACN BYLAWS will need to relook at documents in the next year. Chapter governance will be reviewed

3.Officers’Reports

3.1.1 Treasurer (add report) Membership revenue July $600, August $375, September $525, October $ 375 Nov $275

3.1.2 President-elect -resignations accepted from Lisa Cossaboon, Carolyn Blitzer, and Kelly Marsh. Sue Politsky and Trisha Nichols will assume the responsibilities for Education co-chairs

4.1.2 Education

4.1.2.1 TRENDS update

Save the date for TRENDS 2016 September 27-30, 2016.

Name will remain TRENDS IN CRITICAL CARE NURSING

Next TRENDS planning meeting will occurin the near future but the focus of the January education meeting will be TRENDS.

4.2.1 Awards-policy and procedure in the works.

4.3.1 Nominations- Nominations for the 2016 Board needed for coming year. Ballot will be created to include education chair elect. Next April the open positions include president-elect, secretary, treasurer-elect, and the education chair-elect. Education chair-elect for this year is also actively being sought. R. Strauss to post open positions to nursing network site.

4.4.1Research

Journal club -February 11 , 2016 topic and specifics tbd

Methods lecture- March 3, 2016

Research Conference - April 14, 2016

5.PSNA- Approval received for two years

5.1. Certification courses. September 2015 offering at Atlanticare but speakers have notyet received payment. A motion was made by Donna Barto and seconded by Deborah Paschal to have the chapter treasurer pay the speakers. Slides for the critical care courses have been updated to reflect the new AACN blueprint and content; pdf copies of the slides will be provided to speakers. Next class is January 5th, 2016 @ Inspira. February 2016-Temple, April 2016-Lancaster
