NEC reinforcesits focus on public safety space

AppointsRajan Verma as Head –Public Safety & Identity Solutions Business

Ltd, a leading network and IT solutions provider, today announced the appointment of RajanVerma as the head of its Public Safety and Identitysolutions business in India. Rajan will be responsible for driving the growth of NEC’s identity solutions business inIndia with special focus on criminal, civilidentification and banking segments, and to strengthen NEC’s capability as a systems integrator in India. With the objective of developing India as a market of strategic importance for NEC globally, the company is engaging with central & state governments to drive E-gov projects in India,participating in infrastructure security projects and taking keen interest in national security initiatives.
