Create a collage that incorporates all of the organisms, habitats, waterways, etc that we have been talking about regarding Tampa Bay.

What it should include:

1.  Organisms-> At least fifteen different organisms, total. You must have both the common and scientific name of each organism written out under the picture.

2.  Picture of each organism. The picture can be hand drawn, from the internet, magazines, etc.

3.  Five main habitats: Salt marshes, mangroves, seagrass beds, sandy beaches, and oyster bars.

4.  Map of the bay

a.  The four main rivers labeled

b.  The Gulf of Mexico labeled

c.  Tampa Bay labeled

d.  The entire watershed outlined

e.  The five counties labeled

5.  Ecological Importance

a.  Write a minimum of a two to five page research report on the ecological importance of each habitat. Make sure to address the following:

i.  The history of the bay.

ii. What makes it a quality habitat for the organisms that reside there? Be specific!

iii.  What are the crucial abiotic factors needed by each habitat.

iv.  Threats to each habitat (pollution, run-off, etc).

v. Conservation efforts

6.  Citations

a.  Make sure to correctly cite the websites, books, resources, etc that you may have used. All citations should be done in APA format. Some websites to guide you are:
