Certification Fees
Carbon neutral certification provides credibility to carbon neutral claims made by organisations, or claims made relating to products, services, events, precincts and buildings.
Certification gives you a licence to use the certification trade mark, which showcases your carbon neutral status and climate leadership. Certification fees coveradministration of your certification, and protection and communication of the certification trade mark as a symbol of robust carbon neutral claims. The certification fees are also used to promote your carbon neutral status to other businesses and the general public, and give you membership to the Carbon Neutral Network.
The fees in this document apply for the 2018 calendar year and the 2018–19 financial year. For later years, these fees will be adjusted upwards by 2.5 per cent each year.
A discount of 20 per cent is available for charities and not-for-profit organisations listed on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission register. Thisdiscount is available for organisation, product, service, event or precinct certification.
Annual fee for organisations, products, services and precincts
The annual certification fee is charged at thestart of the reporting period.

The single certification rate applies to a licence agreement that contains only one subject of certification (e.g. an organisation, product, service or precinct).Where a licence agreement covers more than one subject of certification (e.g. organisation and product), the annual fee is set on the basis of the combined carbon account, taking into account any overlap in emissions calculated for each subject of certification. The fee increases by 10 per cent for each additional subject of certification.
Fee for events

Fee for buildings
