1.Titleofthecourse

MasterofSciencedegree in Medical Imaging Technology

2.Durationofstudy

Theduration ofthecourseshall beon full timebasis foraperiod oftwoyears from thecommencement oftheacademic term.

3.EligibilityforAdmission

Candidateswhohavepassedfinalyear B.SC Medical Imaging Technologywith60%marksforgeneralcategory and55%for reserved category.

4.SelectionCriteria

Theshortlistedcandidateswill havetopresentthemselvestoaselectionprocess, comprisingaptitude test. Selectedcandidateswouldhavetoappear forstudent counselingtodecideon thecollege ofstudy.

5.Eligibilitycertificate

Nocandidateshallbeadmittedforthepostgraduatedegreecourseunlessthe candidate has obtained and produced the eligibility certificate issued by the university. Thecandidatehastomaketheapplicationtotheuniversitywiththe following documents along with theprescribed fee.

Pass/Degreecertificate issued by theparentuniversity. Marks card of all the universityexaminationspassed. Migration certificate.

Certificate ofconduct.

ProofofSC/STorcategory-I as thecasemaybe.

Candidateshouldobtaintheeligibilitycertificatebeforethelastdateofadmission as notified by this university.

Acandidate who has been admitted to post-graduate course should register his/her nameintheuniversitywithinamonthofadmissionafterpayingthe registration fee.

6.Mediumofinstruction

Englishshallbethemediumofinstructionforthesubjectsofstudyaswellasforthe examination.

7.CourseofStudy

Thecourseshallbepursuedonfulltimebasis.

7.1.Thetrainingofthispostgraduatedegreeshallberesidencypatternwithgraded responsibilitiesinthemanagementandcare of patients ThecourseismainlyfocusedonpracticalaspectsofRadiology. Every candidate should take part in seminars, group discussions,casedemonstrations,journalreviewmeetingsandclinics. Training shouldincludeinvolvementinlaboratory andexperimentalwork,andresearch studies.

7.2.Thetrainingalsoconsistsofpostingthestudents invarious hospitals for a period of two months before final year examination.
