Meetings and activities in UNIDO Project ( united nations )
1. Member of The State Project Steering Committee (SPSC) (under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Secretary, Science Technology and Environment) and State Project Management Unit (SPMU) (under the Chairmanship of Member Secretary) have been constituted vide office order dated 02.04.2013 and 15.01.2013 respectively as per requirement of the project. The PPCB signed contract for the Project on 25.09.2013.
2. appointed State Technical Advisor, SPMU on 24.05.2014 for the Punjab State.
3. attended the first meeting of the SPMU held under the Chairmanship of Member Secretary cum Nodal Officer on 18.07.2014.
4. Attended a review meeting held under the Chairmanship of SSTE (Secretary, Science, Technology & Environment ,GOVT OF INDIA ) to review the progress of Punjab State in the UNIDO Project on 28.07.2014. govt of india .
5. visited the health care facilities in the UNIDO Project to clarify points for preparation of action plan.
6. attended a stakeholder workshop organized by UNIDO for the SPMUs of the 5 states from 13-14th November, 2014 at M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore.

SP Dhua, Regional Coordinator, UNIDO and NPC, UNIDO to discuss various issues related to project and to finalize the plan for the proposed stakeholder workshop at Chandigarh under chairmanship of Sh. Biswanath Sinha, IAS, Joint Secretary, MoEF.
10. Attended a Project Partner Meeting regarding implementation measures for the project organized in Chandigarh on 14-15th May, 2015, wherein representatives from MoEFCC, UNIDO & 5 States attended the meeting.
11. prepared a document on bringing in uniform guidelines on management of Bio-medical waste after studying rules & regulations related to bio-medical prevalent in the State and sent vide letter no. 2558 dated 11.08.2015.
12. MEMBER Technical Evaluation Bid COMMITTEE for procurement of color coded bins and waste collection trolleys held at UNIDO Headquarter, Vienna between 22.08.2016 to 26.08.2016 along with Project Coordinator.

17. Attended training of trainers (TOT) workshop at Dumra Auditorium, DMCH Ludhiana on 8-9th March 2017, jointly organized by PPCB and MSRMC Bangalore. I also presented on Situational Analysis on Biomedical waste in Punjab and Hospital Infection Control Practices in the same. Trainers from 28 HCFs and CBMWTF participated in this workshop.
