Use Case Description /
Name / A short name for the use case, usually describing an activity, e.g. "SOS containing e-reporting air quality data for Austria" <name>
Primary user / The main person or system interested in the data which is being served <primary user>
Data provider / The provider of observation data which is being served <provider>
Goal / The goal of the primary actor, i.e. the state or product that shall be produced by successfully executing the task, e.g. a flood extent map; an understanding of the effects of the pollutant on health <goal>
Description / Give a short narrative description of the service. <description>
Documentation / Include pointers to any additional documentation of the data set <documentation>
Pre-condition / What are the pre-requisites? What input is required? <pre-condition>
Post-condition / What is the output from the use case? What are the anticipated next steps (e.g. data are used for modelling and then the outputs are pushed to a WCS)? <post-condition>
Service components
Service endpoint (resource locator) / Provide the end point of the servcie with a GetCapabilities request <endpoint>
Geographic Extent (BBOX) / Describe the geographic extent of the data set <geographic extent>
Software Implementation / Describe the software which is being used for establishing the web service (e.g. 52North INSPIRE/SOS, istSOS, etc.<implementation>
INSPIRE compliant data (Y/N) / Provide information whether the servcie delivers data which is (or claims to be) delivering INSPIRE compliant data
INSPIRE compliant service (Y/N) / Provide information whether the servcie is compliant with the INSPIRE NS Regulation (e.g. has got extended capabilities beyond the standard OGC services, implements the required operations, provides multilingual support, etc.)
Data store / Information, if available on the data store which is being used (e.g. PostgreSQL/PostGIS database, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
Clients / Data about the major client solutions, if available (e.g. 52n swe-client, Desktop GIS software, National geoportal, etc.)
Observation offerings being served Describe the observation offering which is made available throughthe service. Repeat section for each offering.

Flow of Events – Basic Path Describe the basic steps needed for executing the use case from the perspective of the primary actor. Concentrate on those steps that require or produce data sets & serve observation data.
