Mini-Grant Opportunity from generationOn Indiana

generationOn Indiana- $250 Mini-Grants availableto educators in Indiana schools tosupport service-learning projects.

These mini-grants and the support you have available from generationOn Indiana is through our grant funded program facilitated by the IASP (Indiana Association of School Principals) and the IMLEA (Indiana Middle Level Education Association). These mini-grants are to be used for service-learning projects to support student engagement in philanthropy education and service-learning at your school. Depending on the demand for our mini-grants, there may be a limit of one or two mini-grants per school per school year.(Two teachers may apply for a multi-class or school-wide service-learning project for a total of $500. Each teacher would need to submit an application)

STEPS TO APPLY:

  1. The LIVE LINK to the generationOn Indiana mini-grant application is available to Indiana Educators and Administrators from Joan Belschwender, Director of generationOn Indiana.
  2. Email Joan at to request the LIVE LINK to this online application. This link is NOT on the generationOn website because our genOn IN mini-grants are funded through our genOn IN grant funded program that is facilitated by IASP and IMLEA.
  3. Requirements:

To apply you must be connected to our genOn IN database by Registering yourself on the generationOn website and Register your school on the generationOn website on the Classroom and Schools link/ Register Your School Check the Directory on this same page to see if your school is already registered, if so, Join your school account.
  5. Your service-learning project must include using a Learning to Give lesson with your students before, during, or after the project. You can do a Lesson Search on (email Joan if you need assistance) Use all or part of a LTG philanthropy education lesson(s) in whatever way is best for you.
  6. After acceptance of your mini-grant and completion of your service-learning project you will be required to submit data from your project on the online Service-Learning Tracker that is found your Registered generationOn School account.

Our genOn IN mini-grant application is an online application. Once you start the application you will need to finish it. You may request a SAMPLEword doc of the online form from Joan so you can see the fields of information that you need to apply and you can also use it as aplanning sheet.
