Thank you for your interest in joining Back Up’s London to Paris #NoLimits team.

We have 20 charity places available. To make the most of these places, we are asking that each rider pays a £150 registration fee and pledges to raise a minimum of £2,500 in sponsorship. We will of course give you our full support and guidance along the way to help you achieve your target.

By raising money for Back Up through the London to Paris #NoLimits ride you will be ensuring that our services can continue to help inspire people to transform their lives following a spinal cord injury. These services include our wheelchair skills sessions, our mentoring service, and our rehabilitative activity courses, which are all run by people who have a spinal cord injury themselves. We also support people to overcome the challenges of returning to work or school.

Back Up’s services can have a life-changing impact on individuals with a spinal cord injury, so it goes without saying how important the money raised through the London to Paris ride is.

Charity place riders

I pledge to raise the minimum sponsorship of £2500. I understand that 100% of my sponsorship must be paid to Back Up within 1 month after the event date.

• Participants agree to raise the minimum sponsorship specified for the event.
• Participants agree that if they have not paid the minimum amount to Back Up within 4 weeks of completing the event they may be asked to make up the shortfall themselves.
• Unless otherwise agreed in writing participants must not use their Back Up event place for any other commercial gain, or use the challenge to fundraise for any registered charity other than Back Up.
• Participants agree that they will follow instructions provided to register with Hot Chillee by the specified deadline. Failure to do so will result in the loss of their place.
• In the event that less than 80% of our peloton places are not filled the level of support from Hot Chillee will reduce accordingly.

General Terms and Conditions

• Participants agree to inform Back Up immediately if they are unable to take part in the event.
• Should you not take up your place all sponsor forms and monies should be forwarded to Back Up.
• All funds raised in connection with Back Up must be payable to Back Up in sterling. Please convert pledges to sterling.
• You must carry out your fundraising in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Back Up Safe and Legal Guidelines.
• Back Up cannot take responsibility for any injury, losses or damage caused or sustained as a result of fundraising events held in aid of Back Up. Is it the responsibility of the event organiser, to comply with legal and safety regulations. The event organiser is Hot Chillee.
• Back Up may, at its sole discretion, withdraw a participant if it believes that it is the best interests of the charity to do so.
• Participants must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions set by Hot Chillee.
