A Fireworks Extravaganza – in Reading?

It’s been a long time coming but it can’t be missed!

Reading hasn’t seen a firework display on this scale for more than 10 years.

On Saturday, November 3rd, let the Lions Club of Reading and Reading107FM entertain you with an evening of fireworks, music, food and drinks. At Reading Town Football Club (Scours Lane) – watch spectacular fireworks from the terraces and stands; children can also enjoy the fun fair.

Gates open at 5pm, the Fireworks start at 7pm. (Street parking is available nearby)

Ticket numbers are limited but buy them in advance - on other outlets throughout the town. A discount is available for a limited period only.

David Lawton, President of the Lions Club of Reading added “Not only will The Lions Clubprovide a fireworks party to remember, we will be raising much needed funds for local charitable causes. With your support, we will organise the same event next year and in preparation, local primary schools are taking part in a drawing competition to create a poster to advertise the Fireworks Extravaganza 2013. All winning entries will be on display on the night and the Mayor is in full support by awarding the prizesbefore the fireworks”. The prizes are as follows:
