BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
The wick on your candle is left a little long (1/2 inch) to get your candle off to a good start. Your candle is ready to light when you receive it. Every time you light your candle, let the wax melt until it is liquid all the way across the jar. This will take from 3 to 5 hours depending upon the scent and will ensure even burning of the candle, with little or no cratering. The wick should be trimmed to approximately ½ inch and only if it smokes. Do not trim the wick too short, but do trim slightly if the flame becomes too high and smokes. Do not extinguish the candle by using the cap. Replace cap only after smoke has cleared. Lighthouse Candles uses lead free wicks, custom blended fragrance oils and are hand-made.. NOTICE: Please follow these instructions for optimum burning results. Also, please read the instructions on the bottom of the jar.
