Archives Responsibleforcreatingaudio, videoandphotographicrecordsofallperformances, andthoserehearsalsasrequestedbytheBand Director. Compilesanannualhistoricalandpictorial recordoftheyear’sactivities. Suppliesphotosfor publicitydirectorforpressreleases.Coordinateswith thestudenthistoriansasneeded.

Membership Shallberesponsibleforenlisting newmembers. Shallarrangeforallfirst-yearBooster parentstobematchedupwithexperiencedBooster parents.Shallprovidehotlinesupporttoall newcomers.Shallberesponsiblefororganizingand implementingasystemofcommunicatingby telephonewiththestudentsandparentsofthe organization. Suchcommunicationsshallbeinitiated attherequestoftheBoardofDirectors.

Newsletter Shallberesponsibleforcollection ofmaterial,productionanddistributionofthe newsletter,and maintenanceofthenewsletter mailinglist.

Props Shallberesponsiblefortheconstruction, preventativeandcorrectivemaintenanceandstorage ofallpropsfortheband,colorguardanddrumline. Chairpersonisresponsibleforenlistingandtraining appropriatepersonneltoloadandunloadprops;and movepropsontoandofffield. Shallberesponsible fororganizingallstorageareas.

Scrip Shallberesponsiblefortheoperationand administrationofthepaperandelectronicscrip programsasdirectedbytheVicePresident.

Transportation Shallberesponsibleforsecuring transportationofallinstruments,propsand equipmentoftheband. Shallberesponsiblefor preventativeandcorrectivemaintenanceofallmotor

vehiclesandtrailersownedandoperatedbytheBand Boosters. Chairpersonshallberesponsiblefor enlistingandtrainingadequatepersonneltodrive equipmentandpropvehicles;loadandunload equipment;andmovepercussionequipmentontoand offfield.Shallberesponsibleforcoordinatingacross allgroupsthescheduleduseoftheBandBooster motorvehiclesandtrailersthroughouttheyear.

Uniforms Shallberesponsibleforthe maintenance,repair,passingout,andcollectionof

thebandmarchinguniforms. Shallberesponsiblefor findingchaperonesfortheband,andhelpwith groomingthestudentsforperformances. Shallbe responsibleforcommunicatingwiththebanddirector aboutneedsandconcerns.Shallsuperviseand coordinatebandchaperones.

SELECTCOMMITTEES

NominatingCommittee Itistheresponsibilityof theNominatingCommitteetoacceptandqualify nominationsfortheofficersandtherepresentatives thatserveontheBoardofDirectors. Theroleofthe NominatingCommitteeisdescribedintheBylaws underArticle8,Section4,ElectionProcedures.The secretaryshalloverseethecommitteeandprovide assistanceasneeded.

FinancialReviewCommittee TheFinancial ReviewCommitteeshallconsistofonetothree members,otherthanofficers,whoshall,withthe cooperationoftheTreasurer,conductanannual reviewofthefundsandfinancialrecordsofthe corporation. TheFinancialReviewCommitteeshall presenttheirfindingstothegeneralmembershipat theJunegeneralboostermeeting.
