LET’S ELECT OUR DIVISION DIRECTOR

I started my Toastmasters Journey from Negombo Toastmasters. During that period I managed to complete my Competent Communicator Manuel. At Neogmbo Toastmasters I served as Vice President Public Relations. And as a teamwe achieved “GOLDEN GAVEL AWARD” in that year. Subsequently I joined the FTZ Toastmasters in year 2012 and hold the position of Vice President Membership, Vice President Education 2014/2015. During that year FTZTM managed to achieve Golden Gavel PLUS AWARD, and Eight members award, first three District Club Performance achiever award in addition to that I won an excellent award from the District 82.

Following year 2015 /2016 I served as President of the FTZTM. During that year FTZTM achieved District club performance with 10 points. It was the first club in the D82 achieved it so quicker. Further we managed to achieve all the educational goals, quality award and Golden Gavel. Due to technical error we missed the Golden Gavel plus Award. Finally Division “F” Awarded ‘OSCARD AWARD” to the FTZTM.

In 2016 01st of July I took over as Area Director from the D82, Division “H” Area 4. Responsible Clubs are as follows:

1)Polytex Toastmasters Club.

2)NEGOMBO Toastmasters

3)Sri Lankan Airlines Toastmasters Club.

4)FTZ Toastmasters.

Last reverberation in Vellore D82 Awarded me Outstanding and Dedicated Services. Currently I have already finished ACS 6 PROJECTS. Public Speaker Manuel five speeches and speaking to inform manual one speech. I am planning to achieve President Distinguished AREA.Hence, I’m confidenceabout it.Further, I knows how to solve problems in a strategic way.

I’m planning to do Youth program in Anuradpura and Kekirawa as well. Last year I have done Youth program for the Negombo Schools children for the speech contest with topic of “Diabetic.”

My Pledge:

  • To remain accessible and available to serve all my fellow members in the Division “ H”. Respecting your valuable time, maintaining integrity, serving sincerely and striving for Excellence.
  • To continue to be a working closely- with the Area Directors, Hand in hand with all our Club officers and District team.
  • To make our District 82# 1 in Membership retention, net club growth and net membership growth.

AWARDS:

  • Excellent Award Won from the District 82 in ovation 2015 Sri Lanka.
  • Outstanding and dedicated Services award won VELLORE in Vellore 6th of November 2016.
  • FTZTM OUSTANDING TOASTMASTERS YEAR 2014 AND 2015.

I believe that true spirit can transform people lives and youth in the society.
