By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the following:

1) The trailer and/or contents are only to be used by churches and ministries of the Kershaw Baptist Association for church & church-sponsored events (not birthday/ private parties).

2) Requests are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. The BPT may not be able to be checked out on consecutive days unless not requested by another church.

3) The trailer and/or contents are not to leave the state of South Carolina or the ministry area of the Kershaw Baptist Association unless approved by Kershaw Baptist Association staff.

4) If using the trailer, it can only be picked up by someone with a full-sized, V-8 truck with a

2 5/16” ball. Though not necessary, it would be good for the truck to have an electric brake controller as the trailer has electric brakes.

5) The use of the inflatables must be supervised at all times by individual(s) in the church who are formally trained in their use. The Kershaw Baptist Association will provide this training.

6) The Kershaw Baptist Association assumes no responsibility, stated or implied, for how the inflatables are used or any accidents or injuries that may occur.

7) At least 2 strong men are required to set up and take down each inflatable.

8) The auto insurance policy of the person picking up the trailer must cover the trailer and contents up to $25,000.

9) The insurance company for your church must cover the use and operation of inflatables.

10) There is a maintenance fee of $100 for the use of the trailer and any or all of the inflatables. However, if all your church wants to use is one or two inflatables (without the trailer), there is only a $50 maintenance fee. Fees are to be paid when the items are picked up. Checks can be made to ‘Kershaw Baptist Association.’ Exemptions of these fees can be made when the need is known.

11) If the BPT is booked back-to-back, it may be necessary to work closely with another church in order to pick up or turn over the trailer, inflatables and/or equipment.

12) When not being used, the BPT must be stored in a secure location such as a storage building, garage, barn or fenced yard. These types of trailers are easy targets for thieves.

13) The Kershaw Baptist Association does not provide supplies for the popcorn machine, sno- cone machine or cotton candy machine. FYI: Cash & Carry, Broad St, Sumter, carries all the supplies. Cromers, Huger St, Columbia carries all the supplies. Walmart has sno-cone supplies.
