JOB PURPOSE:

THINK BIG & THINK BIG HUB

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to work with one of the country’s leading brands on a CSR programme for youth development. O2 Think Big is an exciting social action programme that funds young people with great ideas to do something positive in their communities (visit You will be based at the Think Big Hub, the home of Think Big and a shiny new tech hub in the heart of London’s Tech City.

THE JOB

In October 2014 TEDxTeen is coming to London and they are working in partnership with O2 Think Big. We have a grand idea that we will be supporting selected TEDxTeen attendees to run a Think Big project (for more info on what this is please look at and this is where you come in.

We are looking for a highly organised and a great communicator to work with the Think Big Team to lead this piece of work from start to finish so this will include reviewing application forms, organising the decision panels, working at TEDXTeen on the day to help announce successful projects and then working with the young people to submit and then complete their projects

LIAISING WITH:

The Think Big team, visitors to the Hub, stakeholders and young people

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prior to TEDxTeen

  • To work with the Think Big team to establish systems for reviewing applications in the run up to approval panel
  • To coordinate approval panel and create papers to support decision making
  • To work with Think Big Team to allocate funds to successful Think Big project leaders
  • To coordinate approval announcement of Think Big projects at TEDxTeen
  • To coordinate the Think Big team to run Think Big support session at TEDxTeen
  • To oversee all communications to young people

Post TEDxTeen

  • Support young people through their Think Big journey
  • Provide additional support events at the Think Big Hub
  • Provide case studies of amazing Think Big projects
  • To help young people complete their Think Big project

Additional Work

  • Providing ad hoc support to the Think Big team when needed, including supporting events at the Think Big Hub and working with Think Big project leaders

Minimum Age: 18

Location: London

Salary: £22,000 pro rata

Duration: 7 Months- September 2014 – March 2015
